Muslim Countries Armies

There are more than 50 Muslim countries in the world. Starting from the east is Indonesia which has highest Muslim population as well and to the west is Mauritania in northern Africa. See the map below for an overview.

Usually it is thought that muslim are only living in the arab countires like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, UAE, Iraq etc. But the fact is that fewer than 15% of muslims are Arab.

As you can see that majority of muslims are living in Indonesia, Pakistan , India and Bangladesh.

All these countries have their own armies but these are incapable of protecting themselves from Big countries like Russia, China or US. 

Except Pakistan and Iran no other country has strong military. They all depend on US or Russian weapons. Pakistan and Iran have their own missile programs.

Pakistan is the only Islamic country to have nuclear weapon. It also have long ranges missile which no other Islamic country have. It also has the cruise missile technology which is only possessed by few nations like US, Russia, China or India.

Iran is also catching up with Pakistan in this area and also considered to be working on nuclear weapon.
