Iran indigenous attack drone

Iran just made an announcement that it will be introducing an indigenous drone which would be capable of reconnaissance and combat missions, dubbed Hamaseh (Valiance).


Iran would unveil its newest drone on in a commemoration which would be attended by President of the country and Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi.

Lately, Iran has introduced significant improvements in its defense industry and achieved self-sufficiency in developing crucial military hardware and machines.

Iran revealed its very first home grown long-range drone, Karrar, few years back in August 2010. The plane is able to carry out bombing missions against targets on ground, fly very long ranges at a high speed, and collecting intelligence.


Back in Sept 2012, Iran also revealed a whole new self-made unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), Shahed 129, having a 24-hour continuous flight ability.
